Swans Shine at the 11th Newmarket Masters Open Meet

Our Masters squad took to the lanes on Sunday, April 26th, for the 11th Newmarket Masters Open Meet, and the results were nothing short of brilliant.

At St Neots Swans, we always emphasise that the technical focus and discipline developed during our coached sessions are the foundation of success. Seeing that hard work translate into such strong competitive performances is exactly what we strive for.

The Roll of Honor

A huge well done to our four competitors who represented the club with pride:

• Rob: Delivered a top-tier performance to secure 1st in the 50m Backstroke.

• Andy: Showcased clinical swimming to take 1st in the 50m Backstroke and 2nd in the 50m Butterfly.

• Tracy: A superb 1st in the 50m Backstroke and a hard-earned 2nd in the 50m Breaststroke.

• Georgie: Showed real determination in a grueling event to bag 2nd in the 200m IM.

A Tradition of Excellence

Since 1987, the Swans have been a fixture of the local community. It is fantastic to see our senior swimmers continuing our long-standing tradition of excellence in the water.

From our youngest newcomers to our seasoned Masters, we are incredibly proud of the standards our members set every time they pull on a club cap. You’ve done us all proud!
